Scholarships and Awards

Each year the department traditionally bestows a number of undergraduate awards, near the end of spring term. All awards recognize distinguished academic achievement, and some also take financial need into consideration. Award winners are chosen by the History Department’s Undergraduate Advising Committee.

If you would like to be considered for one of these awards, please send an email to historyadvising@uoregon.edu. To be considered for one of the awards based partly on financial need, make sure that you have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the UO Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. The form can be found online at StudentAid.gov.
