African Student Association

Members of the African Student Association are committed to promoting African cultural awareness and through cultural events and self-empowerment initiatives that encourage the advancement and success of African students and friends of Africa at the UO.

Black Student Union

The Black Student Union supports students of African descent on the UO campus. Through the promotion of academic achievement and sponsorship of cultural activities, the Black Student Union seeks to build and maintain community spirit among the university’s African-American population that will enhance the educational and cultural development of the university community as a whole.
