Explore African Studies Courses
The University of Oregon course catalog offers degree plans and a complete list of courses in the African Studies Program. Here are some tips for registration:
- Make sure you meet prerequisites before you register. If you don’t, contact the course instructor to request enrollment approval.
- Watch for enrollment requirements. Some courses are offered by other departments or programs that have their own requirements for enrolling.
- Read titles for “Topics” courses that change titles. You can take different titled “Topics” courses multiple times if the titles fulfill your requirements.
- Register for individualized study courses separately. Learn about individualized/independent study.
