How to Apply

The General Social Sciences Program provides students the flexibility to design a major that combines courses from several departments across campus. The program offers students a variety of options depending on their interests. For the career-minded student, GSS provides career training combined with the analytical skills of a liberal arts education. For the intellectually curious student, GSS offers the study of particular themes across several social science disciplines.

Scholarships & Funding

The General Social Sciences Program offers scholarships for undergraduate students who show academic merit. Students can also seek funding through the College of Arts and Sciences, which awards various scholarships to both incoming students and those who are already attending the UO.
