All incoming PhD students receive financial support for five years, including tuition and fees, primarily in the form of graduate employment. Graduate employees are unionized under the Graduate Teaching Fellows Federation, an affiliate of the American Federation of Teachers. There will also be opportunities for fellowships through our GE allocations.

The salary will vary based on the FTE and work experience. The UO Division of Graduate Studies and union regulate salary and benefits.
