Students in the African Studies Program can either receive support from the director of African studies or connect with an academic and career advisor through Tykeson Hall. Our program director is available to meet with students remotely to talk about class planning, minor requirements, the graduate specialization, or other questions
If you have already declared the African studies minor, set up a 15-minute appointment with the program director to plan your courses. Download the minor worksheet below and bring it with you to your advising appointment. To sign up for a meeting time email the program director or click on the link below.
All graduating seniors are encouraged to set up a remote appointment with a Tykeson Hall advisor in the first few weeks of your graduating term to go over any questions you may have.
