African studies helps you cultivate vital skills for living and working in an increasingly global world. In this program, students learn valuable skills in critical thinking and analysis, domestic and international advocacy, policy development and analysis, international business, and public outreach and community relations. Developing a broad, interdisciplinary knowledge of Africa can open the door to careers in diplomatic services, international development, or research.
