The Career Center provides career and job search assistance, offers strategies for choosing a career, and helps connect students with local and global internship opportunities. Students participating in internships can earn up to 12 upper division credits in a 10-week term.

IE3 Global Internships
Would you like to earn internship credits toward your major while living and working abroad? The IE3 Global program provides internships at over 100 different organizations in 50 countries, where students can earn up to eight (8) credits toward their specialization requirements for the GSS major.
Global Works International Internships
Global Studies Institute at UO offers global internships in many different work sectors ranging from business to education to public relations. Students can earn up to eight (8) credits toward their Specialization requirements for the GSS major.
Volunteer for SAIL
SAIL is the University of Oregon’s largest pipeline program led by volunteer faculty aimed at increasing students’ enrollment and success in college through early exposure and exploration. SAIL hosts FREE summer camps for students 8th through 12th grade. Priority is given to students who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch programs.
