Undergraduate Program

Why Minor in Middle East and North Africa Studies?

This minor offers a broad examination of the MENA region. Students focus their study with a concentration in language, study abroad, or research. The minor is designed to offer flexibility to examine critical issues across the region and to focus on particular areas of interest. The minor requires a minimum of 24 credits and one of three concentrations: language study, study abroad, or research.

Advising and Academic Support

Undergraduates are strongly encouraged to meet regularly with an academic advisor to plan and track their academic progress. For current and prospective MENA minors, please schedule an appointment with Tykeson Advising to set up an appointment.

All graduating seniors are encouraged to set up an appointment with an advisor in the first few weeks of your graduating term as a starting point to go over any questions you may have.
