If you want to design your own practical experience, consider reaching out to a local, national, or international organization to set up a global health-related internship or volunteer experience.
All experiences must equate to 120 real-world hours, and students must register for 4 P/NP credits in the Department of Global Studies or their home department to be supervised by a global health faculty member. All experiences must be pre-approved by the Global Health program director, Melissa Graboyes.
Starting in September 2018, the Global Health Program does not accept clinical shadowing (whether in the US or abroad) to fulfill this requirement.
